Cala Bona

Spain is one of the most visited European countries. And among the best tourist destinations in Spain are the Balearic Islands. The largest and the most popular island is Mallorca with its capital Palma. Tourists can get here by air or perform an unforgettable water trip on the board of the liner from Valencia, Barcelona or other eastern coastal cities. Just 70 kilometers from the capital is located beautiful city of Cala Bona. Cala Bona is located on Mallorca's east coast, a little more than an hour's drive from the capital, Palma de Mallorca. You can always book a hotel room in Cala Bona according to your personal taste and your finances. It is a beautiful city for all types of holidays and it has a lot of entertainments there. But, unfortunately, there is no big enough beach. You can find only a small one in front of the Hotel Levante, though you can start here your way to the beautiful kilometer-long golden beach of its near neighborhood.
The majority of visitors to Cala Bona are British tourists. But it is a very popular holiday place among all rich people. Here you can meet tourists from London, Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Rome, the US and a lot of representatives of other states. The most popular places here are the Bonamar Hotel and Yates' bar offering traditional British dishes. English language can be found here everywhere. There are nice terraces here overlooking the sea from Snoddy's Café and the Donkey's Rest. In addition there are a lot of bars and restaurants with a view of a small rocky port.
Among the interesting food destinations of Cala Bona can be admitted a nice restaurant called Es Mollet overlooking the main square, the Rope and Anchor bar in a British style serving traditional dishes, the Thalassa Café that is nearly floating on the water and is suitable for breakfasts with tasty coffee and evenings with fine cocktails. For the admirers of Italian food there is the excellent Paparazzi restaurant.
In addition to the Cala Bona hotels, bars and restaurants there are many opportunities for excursions available from Cala Bona, especially if you have your own transport.
